The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of low protein feed with and without protease enzyme supplementation on broiler performance during the fattening phase. 96 chickens of the DOC strain CP 707 were used in this study. The design used was a fully randomized design (CRD) with a 2x3 factorial pattern. Factor A treated with enzymes (with and without protease enzymes) Factor B treated with protein levels (19%, 18%, 17%) so there were six combinations, namely A0B1 (19% protein without enzymes), A1B1 (19% protein.) + Enzyme), A0B2 (18% protein without enzymes) A1B2 (18% protein + enzymes), A0B3 (17% protein without enzymes), A1B3 (18% protein + enzymes). The variables examined were ration consumption, body weight gain, ration conversion and final weight. The data obtained were analyzed by means of analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results of this study showed that the use of 19% protein was better than 18% and 17% on the performance of broilers, the addition of enzymes to the ration was better than the use of no enzymes on the performance of broilers since there were No interaction between different protein concentrations in the feed with protease enzymes on the performance of broilers.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pakan rendah protein dengan dan tanpa suplementasi enzim protease terhadap performa ayam broiler periode finisher. Penelitian ini menggunakan 96 ekor ayam DOC strain CP 707. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 2x3. Faktor A perlakuan enzim (dengan dan tanpa enzim protease) faktor B perlakuan level protein (19%,18%,17%), sehingga ada enam kombinasi yaitu A0B1 (19% protein tanpa enzim), A1B1 (19% protein + enzim), A0B2 (18% protein tanpa enzim) A1B2 (18% protein + enzim), A0B3 (17% protein tanpa enzim), A1B3 (18% protein + enzim). Variabel yang diteliti adalah konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan, konversi ransum, dan bobot akhir. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis varians (ANOVA). Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan level protein 19% lebih baik dari 18% dan 17% terhadap performa ayam broiler, penambahan enzim pada ransum lebih baik dari penggunaan tanpa enzim terhadap performa ayam broiler, tidak ada interaksi antara level protein pakan yang berbeda dengan enzim protease terhadap performa ayam broiler.
