Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh suplementasi jenis dedaunan terfermentasi terhadap kecernaan protein dan energi ternak babi fase grower-finisher. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 12 ekor ternak babi peranakan landrace umur 4-5 bulan dengan kisaran bobot badan awal 30,5-51,5 kg, rataan 41,21kg dan koefisien variasi 16,49%. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicobakan yakni R0: ransum basal; R1: ransum basal + 5% tepung daun singkong terfermentasi; R2: ransum basal + 5% tepung daun ubi jalar terfermentasi; R3: ransum basal + 5% tepung daun kelor terfermentasi. Variabel yang diteliti adalah konsumsi dan kecernaan protein dan energi. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan suplementasi jenis dedaunan terfermentasi berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi dan kecernaan protein dan energi ternak babi fase grower-finisher. Disimpulkan bahwa suplementasi daun singkong, daun ubi jalar, dan daun kelor terfermentasi memberikan pengaruh yang relatif sama terhadap konsumsi dan kecernaan protein dan energi ternak babi fase grower-finisher.
This aims to determine the effect of fermented leaf types supplementation on intake and digestibility of protein and energy in the grower-finisher phase of pigs. The material used in this study were 12 landrace pigs aged 4-5 months with an initial body weight range of 30.5-51.5kg, an average of 41.21kg and a coefficient of variation of 16.49%. The study a randomized block design consisting of 4 treatments with 3 replications. The treatments were R0: basal ration; R1: basal ration + 5% fermented cassava leaf flour; R2: basal ration + 5% fermented sweet potato leaf flour; R3: basal ration + 5% fermented Moringa leaf flour. The variables studied were the intake and digestibility of protein and energy. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the supplementation of fermented leaves had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the intake and digestibility of protein and energy in the grower-finisher phase of pigs. It was concluded that the supplementation of fermented cassava leaves, sweet potato leaves, and Moringa leaves had a relatively similar effect on the intake and digestibility of protein and energy in the grower-finisher phase of pigs.
