Abstract

The activity of processing chicken shredder and nugget for Dharma Wanita group in Malaka regency was done. The aim of this community services was to increase participants' knowledge and skills of participants in producing chicken shredded and nugget that similar appearance those were sold in supermarket.  The method used in this activity was discussion and training.  This activity starting from material preparation to packaging were carried out independently by the participants, used the module as a guide while the resource persons were only as supervisors. The results of the organoleptic test showed that 100% of the panelists (participants + high school students) gave very good scores for both shredded and nugget. The physical appearance of the shredded and nugget produced was the same as commercial products sold in supermarkets. Shredded was sold Rp. 15,000/100 grams, while nugget was Rp. 20,000/100 grams. The profit earned was Rp. 45,000 each for shredded or nuggets. The resulting product shows that through this activity, participants' knowledge and skills have increased.
